Doing the Furlough Blues

If you have a minute to say a prayer for us, I could use it. Today has not been a good day. The weight of furlough, fund-raising, uncertainty, suitcases (which we forgot when we left Rochester today) traveling, and all the rest has me buried today.

I think I need to sit down and have a good cry.

Jesus be near Heather as she cries. Lift her head. Help her know You see all this. Nestle her in close. Hold her. Give her patience, joy, hope, expectancy. Fill her. Bless her. Provide for them all.

I'm just reading your request for furlough prayer. I'm a friend of lisa borden's from portugal and am headed on a sort of furlough, too. I pray you'd be free to cry out to God like David did, especially in the funk that is furlough. May you feel His comfort today.
